From 31 July to 4 August, 2019, the delegation led by Mr Dieu K're', the Central Committee member and Permanent Deputy Head of Central Commission for Mass Mobilization paid a working visit to Myanmar.

Mr Dieu K're' had meetings and talks with Myanmar Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Nai Thet Lwin, Deputy Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Kyi Min; Deputy Minister of Government Office U Tin Myint. Vietnamese Ambassador H.E. Dr. Luan Thuy Duong was also present at those meetings.

During the meetings, the two sides cordially discussed matters related to establishing policies on religion-related works, association management and socio-economic development of two countries' ethnic minorities. They also agreed to exchange visit at all level in the coming thime in order to strenthening the bilateral relation in the above fields.

On the occation of the visit, the delegation visited the Embassy of Vietnam in Yangon and talked with Embassy staff. At the meeting, Vietnam Ambassador to Myanmar Luan Thuy Duong briefed the delegation on the Myanmar socio-economic situation, the development milestones in the bilateral relationship between Vietnam and Myanmar as well as the Vietnamese community working and living in Myanmar at the time being./.
